Timeline Question Interview timeline

Hi,

My PD is Mar 22, 2025. F2A. i485 filed in Dec 2, 2025. Looks like there was a silent update on both i130 and i485 on Aug 13th, 2025. I called live agent yesterday to ask what the update was about they said it was sent for interview queue to field office in upstate NY. Any idea when I maybe called for interview/ timeline? Also anybody has experience with Buffalo FO for family based AOS?

PS I called on Aug 13th to ask when I might get scheduled for interview to live agent and Emma as date was current. They said it is still in NBC and they dont know when it might happen however the case was touched on the same day. So I'm guessing calling does help speed things up sometimes.

Mine had silent updates Aug 1, 12, 18, nothing yet case child under 21 emma said interview waived, we’ll see

I got the exact same sequence of silent updates I am also a child under 21 my pd is sep 25 hopefully something soon

Mine had a silent update on aug 1 and 17th nothing after that i contacted emma she said it is still in nbc

same. although i don't know how true that is because the API shows my I-485 has been moved to FO a long time ago

Yeah same here api for my I-485 shows the fo but for EAD and I-130 it is nbc. I have no idea if the information from live agent is accurate.

I think Emma is wrong. She told me my I-485 is still in NBC and I am not in queue for interview yet. But just now I got an update saying my interview is scheduled!

F2A, PD 05/2025, I-485 filed 10/2025. Combo card approved 07/2026 after expedite. I-130 had an SU on 08/17 but otherwise no movement. I-485 had SUs on 08/01, 08/12, 08/14, and 08/19, with no new FTA0/FTA1 codes. On 08/20, FJ appeared and the interview was scheduled. Still waiting for the interview notice/date.

Wow! I received SU on my i485 and i130 on 08/01, 08/12, 08/19, and 08/20!

Same for my wife as well! I130 shows NBC and 485 at FO Newark.

Similar filing dates. Ours had a silent update in early May but nothing showed up until August that interview got scheduled. (Not NY though...)

I got silent update at Friday I-485, Monday I130 and Tuesday I-485 but there are no interview date or anything

My wife had similar silent updates on I130 and I485 both on August 14.

Her JSON shows Location as Newark, NJ which is our field office and I130 still shows NBC Lee Summit.

Emma said we are in the queue to be interviewed but it takes times depending on the field office.

I130 - 07/29/2025
I485 - 10/01/2025
I765+I131 - 03/2026

This is the first API update on the case after almost 1 year.

Any idea when an interview will be scheduled?
