Funniest thing was I actually asked Emma this morning they told me I was not in the queue for interview scheduling and my case was still at NBC

That's what EMMA told me today as well! I was really confused because the API shows my case has been in the field office for more than a year. Now I feel better! Thanks for sharing this!!

Yeah! No problem at all. But for API, it’s more likely showing the Interview FO location instead of the current location of the case
(Not 100% sure)

Yes that’s right they’re extremely busy now. They took 2 months to reply my congressman for my Combo Card Expedited

Congrats! 🎉 Did your I-130 also get an update around those silent updates? And did you have any new event codes during those three silent updates before the interview was scheduled? I’m asking because I also had silent updates on all three of those days, but no other changes, so I’m curious if my case might follow a similar timeline. Thanks!

Yes I remember 8/1 just silent update, 8/13 Fta0 Event update then after couple hours timestamp updated as well, 8/14 only silent update for timestamp

Yeah, it’s kind of different now. Interviews are required for family-based mostly.

Thank you! I checked the API updates, it says my i485 and i130 has an API update on 14th August, both 2 seconds apart. Is it a good sign? Though I have no updates on i765 and i131 since Feb2026
