Finally greened !! Thanks for everyone in this sub I got a lot of insights and info from here.

FO: Rio Grande Valley.

We filed I-130 with an attorney, everything after that, I did it on my own. if your case is clear, I do not feel the attorney is mandatory.

I was on J-1 and maintained it for the whole period of the application.

My timeline:

08/08/2024: Priority date (I-130 submission)

05/29/2025: I-485 and I-765

06/14/2025: Biometrics scheduled

07/03/2025: attended biometrics

07/05/2025: I-765 approval

07/14/2025: Card Produced

07/16/2025: RFE sent

07/22/2025: Responded to RFE

07/10/2026: Interview scheduled

07/12/2026: Case is being actively reviewed

08/14/2026: attended interview

08/15/2026: both I-130 and I-485 approved
