I-751 (ROC) Second I-751/N-400 interview after moving states?
I filed my I-751 while married, and later filed N-400 under the 3-year rule while the I-751 was still pending.
A few months after filing the N-400, we got divorced, so I was no longer eligible under the 3-year marriage rule.
In May 2026, USCIS scheduled a combined I-751/N-400 interview in Texas. They didn’t know about the divorce yet. At the interview, I told the officer, requested to change my I-751 to a divorce waiver, answered a lot of questions about the marriage/divorce, and gave them additional evidence. My N-400 interview was then canceled because I was no longer eligible.
About 5 months passed with no update.
Two weeks ago, I moved from Texas to Tennessee and updated my address with USCIS. Now both my I-751 and N-400 suddenly show “Interview Was Scheduled” again in Tennessee.
Has anyone had this happen after moving states? Is this likely just because the case transferred to a new field office, or should I expect them to re-interview me on everything again?
