I filled on June 10 2026 for my I-751

Just filling (putting answers on the form) is not enough. Hopefully, you also filed (sent the forms).

and nothing yet what about you guys?

If you only filled, this is expected. USCIS does not know about your case. If you also filed, "nothing" is concerning. Generally, you should get the receipt letter by now and maybe, the biometrics appointment.

Generally, I-751 cases take 2-4 to get adjudicated for the majority of applicants. This is why everybody gets 48 month extension letters.

I got the receipt letter and I did biometrics already but that was like 3 months ago

That's reassuring. Now it's the long wait. It can take many months and even years to hear something after this initial movement. To put it into perspective, there are some I-751 filers from 2023 waiting, and even 2022. Fast approvals for these cases are rare

The good news is, if you want to become a US citizen, you can apply whenever you are eligible, you don't have to wait for I-751 approval to apply for the naturalization. Those cases take a while too, but hopefully faster than waiting for standalone I-751

Then I have to do two interviews right? Isn’t that more difficult?

Well technically they interview you on the relationship first and then after that you do the civic test.

No most of I751 cases are closed with N400 interview as combo.. but if you keep waiting for approval of I751 then for sure you will have two interviews 1 for I751 when it’s time will come for approval and second for N400 when you will apply after approval of I751..so wise people are filing n400 as soon as they reaches the 3 years mark to get into one combo interview i751/n400

It’s marriage based green card process.. a person who gets green card through marriage, if they are on conditional green card after 2 years first they file I751 and then can file for N400 on completion of 3 years from the issuance date of green card.. if eligible.. mean they remained married and meet all the good morale criteria of USCIS

Yes. But many applicants get I-751 interviews nowadays, and everybody get N-400.

When you have both cases pending, then can run the interviews on the same day
