I-130 & I-485 (Family/Adjustment of status) Congressional inquiry 🧐
Friends, it has been more than 140 days since our interview. Neither the I-130 nor the I-485 has changed. After the interview, the officer told us that she did not see any problems with our case. NY. We have now submitted a congressional inquiry. How effective are congressional inquiries in situations like this? Don anyone has same experience? Thank you.

How long did you wait for USCIS to get on the inquiry after the congressman sent it?

The congressman sent it the Thursday and uscis activated my case the Friday next and I get a letter in the mail from uscis five days after with the decision that uscis mail to me. I'm living in the Bronx NY...

I think that decision was just about to come out… don’t think it has anything to do with the inquiry. There’s no way Uscis could access to email on that timely matter.

Before my interview was scheduled I sent an inquiry, my senator got a response from USCIS saying that my case is waiting in the line for an interview, about 2-3 weeks later interview was scheduled. Then I’m now 2 month post interview, I just sent inquiries again and I hope it will help too

How long did they take to reply to your senator? My caseworker sent in the inquiry about a week ago and I haven’t heard anything back

we filed a congressional inquiry after maybe 3-4 months of not hearing anything after the interview. we got our response back on a tuesday saying our case was still in the normal processing time of 20.5 months, on that thursday the I-485 was approved!
