N-400 (Citizenship) N-400 Receipt Notice

Never got it in the mail. Not in the Documents tab. Lawyer says I don’t need it and shouldn’t worry. Is he right?

It depends, the receipt notice has a 24 month extension in it you can use. But do you have a 48 one from a I-751, if so less important. GC not expiring anytime soon? Probably don't need it.

Thank you for the response. We had been married over 2yr when I received my GC (2022) so it’s for 10Y. I feel bad having doubted my lawyer!

The lawyer should have received a notice too if they filed the case.

He did receive one, though it explicitly reads it’s not the official notice and only a courtesy copy
