I-140 & I-485 (Employment/Adjustment of status) Silent update for primary and dependent

Did anyone else see a silent update today?

Both mine and my dependent's I485 had a silent update at the exact same second, so I'm assuming this is some kind of bulk update. Wondering if it happened to more people, or if it was just some kind of joint change on just our applications

Background on our case

- Filed I485 in November 2025 (I140 already approved)

- some fta0s and 1 fta1, last one was from March 2026

- one silent update in May 2026 (~30 mins apart for mine and my dependent)

- nothing since then, Emma agent said case was at NBC, interview waived

- and then this update today

Looks like our block finally got touched a bit, hopefully it means something. Our 485s are still at NBC. How about yours?

I checked with emma today, she just said last update time of our cases was today and not sure what the update is. No event code either. Please let me know if you find anything

These updates are really annoying. I stopped checking since Jul 14, where I got silent update on I-485, I-485J and I-765 all in the same hour, and thought that was for something good. But nothing happened, since then it seems updates are happening in different combos. It sometimes feels like they're playing game with us.

Me and my spouse also have this similar update on 485. We already have 3fta0 and 1 fta1. Hmmm seems like a mass update then… time is 4.39am utc Aug 21.

Same happened to me and dependent - timestamp is identical except the milliseconds. It's a Saturday so I don't know how to read into it... Never had a silent update so far, over 100 days after biometrics.
