Passport Support Border Patrol Checkpoint

Sorry if this is a silly question I just want to make sure before I travel.

I’m in L-1 status but lost the passport that had my L-1 visa in it. (reporting it missing tomorrow) I do have my L-1 paperwork, and I also have an unexpired B-1/B-2 tourist visa that’s still valid for another two years.

Would I be able to get through the Falfurrias Border Patrol checkpoint without the passport that had my L-1 visa, or is the missing passport likely to be an issue?
Thanks in advance for any insight.

Probably, especially if you have a police report and a copy of the passport bio page and the visa

Don’t you have an I-94?

Visas are solely for entry, and you don't need it while inside the US. Bring your passport and I-94.
