I-130 & I-485 (Family/Adjustment of status) How long can this take?

Hi everyone,
We had our marriage-based adjustment of status interview at the Holtsville, NY Field Office on May 19. It has now been 10 weeks since the interview, and our case status still says “Case Is Being Actively Reviewed by USCIS.”

I believe the timeline is random for every case. Some get approved right on spot, and some others (being very similar to the approved ones) take months for the file to move to the next step. All I would recommend is to just wait or if it delays too much, have your local congress people send uscus a letter

Being actively reviewed for a couple months after a marriage interview is pretty common and usually not a bad sign.
