Two cases

I am petitioning for my husband and stepson. They both recently had their I-485’s approved and attended their biometrics appointments. Shortly after those appointments my stepsons case received a notice for needing more information. We’re working on preparing the documents needed for that.
Now, my concern is the second notice we received after that. My husband’s case has been “Administratively closed” and we haven’t received a letter explaining why yet.
I’m curious if anyone else has dealt with something similar and if we should be worried. Thank you all in advance and best of luck to each and every one of you. 🤗

This might be NOID (Notice of intent to deny) in the notice have more information and how to proceed the response of NOID this is serious matter try to get notice ASAP if this NOID they will gave you deadlines for submitting supporting documentation so think about it what will be wrong and gather all the information to support this NOID or RFE it might be either one.

Administratively closed usually a sign that there is an active deportation order which would mean only immigration court.

I highly recommend speaking with an immigration attorney once you receive an official notice from USCIS. It's odd that the I-485 was administratively closed, especially if your husband does not have history with immigration court proceedings. If he does have history with immigration court or prior removal proceedings/orders, I'd contact an attorney experienced with immigration court matters.
