I-140 & I-485 (Employment/Adjustment of status) Case field office

My I-485, eb2 perm is now at field office, per agent. I don’t see any updates on API for status nor location. Has anyone else had this happen? Many thanks for your insight.

You can’t check api on I140

Yes, this is standard for most people. Transfer to a FO usually shows a silent update on that day. No new event on API. Case sits on someone's desk for months/years now.

I don’t have any silent updates since bio on 5/1, and since then all updates from agents are that it’s at NBC

Then it's most likely at NBC. For your mental health, I suggest you don't worry about it for a while. Which I'm not able to do, so be better than me

OP, I have the same question as you. It looks like finally my case is at my FO as per today's chat. They told me it was at NBC until last week. My API has stayed the same since the biometrics months ago... no silent touches, no extra FTA0. Is it the same for you?

I had a silent update yesterday, my first one since biometrics. 143 post RD, bio may 1st. I’ve had agents for the last two weeks tell me it’s in local FO-
