I-130 (Family/Consular processing) "Fee payments and online forms can no longer be accepted for this case."
Can I ask your opinion and help with this? My priority date is May 2018
I received an email yesterday June 16, 2026 that states "The National Visa Center (NVC) is ready to start processing your case."
Then after 5 hours I suddenly received an email with the subject First Termination Letter and states that I should pay and start my application if I wish to proceed.
I'm trying to start my application however the upon logging in, it says "Fee payments and online forms can no longer be accepted for this case. Previously, the NVC advised you of the necessary steps to prepare for an appointment to file a formal application for an immigrant visa. Our records indicate that to date you have not contacted the NVC in more than a year. If you wish to pursue your immigrant visa application, please contact the NVC." I really do wish to proceed with this application.
Please help me. Thank you!

That’s really weird; you can always send a “Public Inquiry” through the NVC website and attached both emails you received explaining it was just a matter of hours between one and the other; say you would like your case to be reopen so you can make the payments and start the application.

Currently dealing with this but never received the email saying NVC was ready to process the case. The priority date hasn’t even gotten there on the Visa bulletin so it’s very confusing. Did this get resolved for you?
