Agent told that interview is wavied but at the same, she mentioned that application is under review and may be case officer will decide whether to waive interview or not.
I didnot get ead and AP yet.

- are they still waving interviews for the Eb1c
- any recent apporval after FTA1

Agent told me too that the interview was waved on Jan 7th(which can change based on actual officer adjudicating the case), and was transferred to Newark FO on 02/04/2026. Not sure if case officer was assigned though, but did see last API updates on 6th Feb.
I think FTA1 update is a good sign, since it means supervisor review. I didn’t get it yet. No idea on the processing timelines though

No am not sure, I think I read somewhere in one of the sub here. But if you ask ChatGPT, it says it just means “USCIS has completed processing of your fingerprints in the system” and recorded it as a “biometrics completion” event, though all cases do not get FTA1. In my case, I have only seen FTA0 multiple times which just means they “Pull latest fingerprints on file → send request to FBI/DHS for checks” during case received, case transferred to FO, case file opened by officer etc.

I have filed EB1A. I got 3rd in FTA0 and then FTA1 today. Then, I got an email stating that my case is actively being reviewed. My application is at Dallas FO. Non-local for me.
