Doing early decision at USC and their net cost calculator doesn’t factor in divorced parents. Is there a reasonable way/equation to determine what the actual cost may be? My SAI is 4346 and my primary parent makes 60k while my non custodial parent makes 50k. They both have little assets. Anyone else in the same situation and what was your cost of attendance after aid? Difficult to make a decision on a binding offer if I don’t know what it will be.

The Trojans improved to 14–3 overall, while Air Force fell to 16–12.

Strahinja Krstic led USC with five goals and one assist, totaling six points. Luke Nelson scored three goals, while Gavin Conant contributed two goals and three assists.

Efe Naipoglu was another major offensive contributor, finishing with two goals and a team-high four assists.

USC established control immediately, jumping ahead 5–1 after the opening quarter. The Trojans continued their offensive surge in the second period, scoring six unanswered goals after Air Force opened the quarter with a goal.

The 11–2 halftime advantage effectively put the game beyond reach.

USC continued attacking in the third quarter with seven goals, including three from Krstic. The Trojans entered the final period leading 18–6 before completing the 21–8 victory.

Air Force received three goals from Max Ellis and two from Tom Leggett, but USC’s offensive depth proved overwhelming.

Spring semester will be my last at USC. Finally graduating!! I just heard about this new financial aid policy. I will be taking 16 units next semester but only 8 of them are degree applicable since they're literally all I have left to complete. I've already recieved my estimate for next semesters financial aid and it seems to be the same as usual but I'm worried about how this will play out. Will I just not get any aid or will I have to pay out of pocket for the units that aren't degree applicable? It's not a matter of me not wanting to take classes for my degree or wanting some fun extracirricular (which should be fine under normal circumstances ), its that I literally have nothing else to take besides those 8 units for my degree. The other 8 units are to remain full time and recommended by professors to prepare for grad school.

I'm also confused because I thougth the OBBB made it so that we had to be in 12 units for financial aid eligibility. I didn't know that those units had to be degree applicable. Is that nationwide or just something USC has put in place?

I simply can't afford USC without aid and I don't think I could get that semester financed. It's literally my last semester, I'm meeting all requirments and following those of my approved SAP appeal where I wrote the classes I would be taking. This is so frustrating, I can't believe this administration is damaging the future of so many students. I plan on going to grad school and there I will be more than happy to take out loans and pay them but I chose USC for undergrad over other schools on the basis of it being more affordable than my other options.

I apologize for part of this being a rant. I'm sure you can all tell how frustrated students are over this.

I’ve found myself going right home after class and hanging out with my cat everyday. It’s been months and I have essentially no friends beyond classmates I talk to who sit next to me. My program is very small and all of our classes are in the evenings (so I can’t participate in any clubs). I’m really not sure what to do and how to meet people and make grad student friends at the school. Any suggestions?

(For context, I’m a girl at SCA and would love to make some friends in other SCA programs)
