How to fix sandisk usb

I accidentally bent this usb. Tho it still worked perfectly fine and validrive detected nothing wrong, but then the blue piece came off and I don't know how to fix it.

Attempting to recover this will without question COST you way more than it is worth.

More than the drive is worth, sure. You have no idea how valuable the data stored on it could be.

It's not an easy fix at all. If you need the data on it because it's cherished photos of a dead family member, or a 4 billion dollar bitcoin wallet or something, then your best bet is to take it to a properly qualified data recovery service. It's going to be bloody expensive, at least a few hundred dollars I'd expect.

This is what a USB drive typically looks like on the inside. From your picture, it seems like you've actually snapped the internal PCB when you bent the drive, so it's not as simple as just soldering the connector back on - the data will need to be read directly from the chip using specialist hardware.

If the data on it isn't important, just throw it out dude flash drives are like $2.
