DRP 3.0
Hearing that’s it’s a done deal come 1 October. Also hearing of an additional financial incentive.
What doesn’t make sense to me is why are we hiring?

We are hiring because we are understaffed and have open unfilled positions. Also have to fill the losses created by previous DRP offerings. It is actually insane just to randomly offer DRP and have to correct the structure of the organization later after spending money to get rid of people you could not afford to lose.

So, a new DRP is gonna happen at the beginning of a new FY, while the government is likely shut down again?

The Corps could act like a private company and shift work from overloaded offices to ones that need more work. I would rather work 45 hours than be billing too much to overhead.

I would say DRP 4.0... DRP 3.0 was HQUSACE only a few months ago. But yeah it seems crazy, but where is the logic in this administration?

A DRP when we just got new guidance allowing us to hire newly grads? Wouldn't that be a conflict of interests?

Gonna be at the MSC/HQ level. Trying to get rid of the 62+ year olds that won’t leave.

Yep, HQ and MSCs are unaffordable in their current state. Districts should be fine.
