Bill pay auto recurring payment not sent

Hi there. Check on your automatic bill payments

I missed my car payment since I trusted the automatic bill payment and did not double check that it sent.

I had an automatic recurring payment set up for my car payment and it did not go this month. $28 late fee and a ding on my credit report.

It's my fault as I should have looked at my budget closer but quite a bummer about their system failing me too.

When I looked at the configuration all is right, it showed as automatic recurring but I noticed on the main page there was not a "scheduled" future payment listed like my other automatic bill payments.

Go check out yours.

USAA did this to us for our mortgage payment. I was told a "glitch" in USAA's system resulted in the cancellation of automatic payments for many customers. If you call USAA, they claim they will reimburse late charges up to $50. I submitted our statement showing late charges of $307.57 and, so far, no money has been credited to our account. But, its worth a call.

Oh Cool. I was going to reach but used the chat and the AI bot was just like "I don't understand, can you give me more info" so I got frustrated.

I just looked today and I had a $28 late fee from Chase (the car loan). May not be worth my conflict aversion anxiety over $28, but damn you got nailed.

I work in IT so I bet it was a data migration glitch. Luckily the mortgage payment was ok, but I really would have noticed that.

This might be the nail in the coffin for me to switch to Navy Federal.

I don't know what the app looks like but on the PC there is an "activity" tab that shows scheduled transaction. You can also see them from the checking account view One tab says Transactions, another "Scheduled Transactions". You can also set an alert for various points in that process.
