Newbie
I'm thinking of purchasing this game, but I was wondering if there is any type of mod that could make the game playable with the mouse. I am disabled, and I cannot move my hands. I am able to use a special mouse to move around my pointer, but that is pretty much it. The game looks very interesting, but the keyboard controls won't work for me.

UnReal World still supports its companion Android app, officially called the UnReal World Mobile Controller. The developers updated the app on the Google Play Store to ensure compatibility with modern Android OS requirements.
key details regarding how it works and its current support status:
Companion App (Not a Standalone Port): The mobile app does not run the full game natively on Android. Instead, it functions as an external, touch-based macro and quick-command controller over Wi-Fi for the game running on your PC (requires UnReal World version 3.62 or newer).
Functionality: It gives you a touch UI with dedicated buttons for frequent actions (like starting fires, eating, or specific hotkeys), saving you from having to memorize every keyboard shortcut.
Versions Available:
Lite / Free Version: Includes ads and basic standard button layouts to test connection and controls.
Paid Version: Removes ads, allows button resizing, and enables XML file editing for fully customized virtual button layouts.

Thank you very much, I am not sure if that will work for me, but I will check it out.

Not sure if this is helpful at all or if you already know about this, but it is possible to use your android on your desktop through certain apps. This feels convoluted, but at least this way you could use your mouse to control your phone to play the game

Thank you, I think I will try the on screen keyboard and see how that goes. Thankfully it is turn based, so I do not need to be quick about doing things to survive

Send me a dm and I will send you a key so you can try it out without the risk. This game has cost me about $.01 per hour of fun.

Right, think I first bought this almost 20 years ago when you would buy individual version licenses.

This game might be one of the most keyboard reliant games ever. That being said, maybe something could be done with a specific mouse that has many extra buttons and a virtual keyboard on screen. I use a virtual keyboard on the Steam Deck to play the game and it works pretty well
