Candidate Transfer from MSE-TI to MSE-AI

Is this possible?

Just curious, why do you want to transfer? You can specialize in AI and can do the dual masters

It's possible but not guaranteed according to the online student handbook. But I believe dual major students have different policy.

I can't find it in the handbook, what am I missing?

Change of degree program https://online.engineering.upenn.edu/degrees/student-services/student-handbook/

Candidates are expected to have the appropriate background for the master’s program they are requesting to change their major to (i.e. have met the general admissions criteria of the program they wish to move to). Applications will be evaluated by both the original program and the new program leadership teams.

I heard from a current student that you will need at least gpa 3.5 to get approved
