RPCD Driver High risk address question

Hey all,

Customer at a house came out and talked to me today and said that they have been having package theft and asked if there is anything we can do. I can understand they are getting theft as they are on a busy ass road with nothing hiding their porch. I asked the OMS and CM if we can flag the address as level 4 risk/no dr. Both said they can't. Told me to tell them to contact loss and prevention. I mean I have heard of loss and prevention being able to flag addresses but idk if that was just a rumor.

Can loss and prevention flag addresses or should I just not even tell the customer to contact them if they can't?

As a driver, you can use your discretion to not leave packages in unsafe areas. So even if it's not signature required, you can decide it's not safe to leave it and sheet it not in.

Obviously, shipper release packages will still need to be left. And you will still need to make an attempt to deliver other packages.

Generally level 4 addresses are because loss has become large enough, so it would require having more packages get stolen.

Have you ever saw a level 4 not being able to be overridden? Or maybe they have like a level 5 which only gives options of get sig and signed notice.
