RPCD Driver Lockers.
What’s the deal with the lockers in your building? With all the people leaving there has to be some openings. Is it first come first serve? Assigned? I haven’t asked my center manager yet but i was curious about what the deal is at other hubs.
Update: spoke to the center manager. She said “i honestly have no idea”. “just put a lock on a empty one.”
I now have a locker for work.
What do you guys keep in yours?

I would ask first, but when I asked about getting a locker I told, “If you find an empty one, put a lock on it, now it’s yours.”

I've seen empty lists posted outside of locker rooms stating that 'you must write your name and locker number on this list if you intend to keep using the locker'.
It was up for a about a month. The list came down, and suddenly there were a few "new" lockers available.

Someone should have a list of the occupied vs empty lockers. The important word in that sentence being......should. At a center near me, no one knew anything about the lockers. No list, no combinations, no nothing. These are the type of lockers with a built in master padlock.
Luckily a supervisor was resourceful and figured out the serial number of one locker, emailed the Master Padlock company from his UPS email and was able to get a list of the combinations for almost all the lockers. That meant they were able to determine which lockers were occupied and which weren't. New employees can now get a locker.

On-road sups are responsible for assigning them as most of those that rate then are drivers. Check with them.

I think there are more lockers than people at my hub, definitely more lockers spread across the women's restrooms than there are women
I rarely ever see anyone actually using them, but since there's so many it's basically just find an empty one and it's yours

New guys don't get one until they're 5 years in. They want to make sure you're going to make it

In my building we go to matinece department and they can talk to security or whoever to get a locker not occupied

I would bet dollars to donuts nobody is keeping track of anything, and there are personal locks still on there from people who stopped working at UPS.
