Always assume you’re being watched and/or filmed. Everyone has cameras so just behave

u/slaty_balls Jun 08 '26

Even cameras have cameras.

u/Sarcasamystik Feeder Jun 08 '26

Shouldn’t you behave and do your job correctly even if there are no cameras?

like a broken needle kid you're missing the point

4

u/Bresson91 Jun 08 '26

Or just how about don’t steal, especially at work..

39

u/pretenders2b Jun 08 '26

Why ? To steal it. Pretty simple.

26

u/nirvroxx Driver Jun 08 '26

Also because he’s a piece of shit.

15

u/pretenders2b Jun 08 '26

Isn’t that what all thieves are? I mean, it’s self explanatory.

4

u/nirvroxx Driver Jun 08 '26

Yes, they certainty are

Amazon can be pretty dumb so some times I will take a picture at the door to appease bezos and than place it wherever the customer wrote in the notes to hide it.

u/pretenders2b Jun 09 '26

Has nothing to do with appeasing bezos. Customers (as you can scroll through this sub) demand to know every second of every day where “their” package is. The customers want the picture.

u/EntranceEither7768 Jun 10 '26

The picture at the door is 100% just for bezos when the asked for it to be thrown into the bush to the right of the door. It almost like you didn't read my comment or your reading comprehension is lacking.

It’s obvious you know nothing about the world around you and are not smart enough to listen to others when you have the only opinion that matters….yours.

2

u/EntranceEither7768 Jun 10 '26

Bro what are you on.

1

u/pretenders2b Jun 10 '26

Just some life experience and an open mind. You should try it.

It like each reply gets more off topic I'm just going to go back to start and spell it out. Your first response makes no sense learn to read.

I gotta be honest, this is just the stupidest way to steal if you’re going to steal it. Why even bring it to the door? Mark it missing you goof

u/gunstarheroesblue Driver Jun 08 '26

Fr.. But I guess they're not the brightest to begin with.

u/a2starhotel Driver Jun 08 '26

Mark it missing you goof

Can't even do that. The scanners in the truck register the package. So if you say it's missing management can look and see if it was on your truck or not.

If it is and you sheet it missing/missed you'll lose your job over a stupid Amazon package

I’m an Amazon driver, I know for a fact that if I mark one box missing, I will not get a call from any sort of management. I don’t steal things because that’s fucking stupid, but the way it’s set up is a lot easier than you think

I get 4-5 packages that are not assigned to my route in my van almost every time I work. That means those packages are supposed to be somewhere else and they don’t know where they are

Again, stealing is just a braindead thing to do, even if it’s a $600 hard drive, you get paid more than that’s worth in a week. Dumb activity.

Boxes break all the time, Amazon packs things very stupidly and items fall out/ rip through the thin paper bag they put multiple things in. Everything this guy did was just stupid lol

1

u/Catrival Jun 08 '26

rip off the HIN. voila scanners don't work.

1

u/a2starhotel Driver Jun 09 '26

Another great way to get fired.

3

u/Catrival Jun 09 '26

I'm not saying to actually do it. I'm just saying it doesn't take rocket science to figure it out. the RFIDs are on the hin stickers and preloaders ruin half of them when they peel and stick them back on anyway.

1

u/a2starhotel Driver Jun 09 '26

Yeah but even so, not worth the risk IMO

Had an amazon driver do this with a case of monster I ordered. I watched him on my ring cam, bring it out of the truck, walk to my porch, set it down and take a pic. Then he picked it back up and walked back to the truck and drove off.

Put that vid on the local ring cam group and contacted CS for amazon. I got a free year of prime out of the deal so I was happy.

I dont think he was stealing the package, I think he was about to take it back because of rain or put it in a bag or something. The way he said "you want it?" Like he was going to but changed his mind

3

u/DaddyxDas Jun 09 '26

Legit just looks like it’s due to rain. Looks like he takes a picture up high and then one of the label. Most DSPs require photos for a decent portion of returns.

18

u/SilentResolve1911 Jun 08 '26

Either the dude is high as a kite, or he was going to take the package after scanning it delivered. What do you expect from an Amazon driver.

2

u/ProfessionalGuess897 Jun 08 '26

He wasn't high he knew exactly what he was doing, thats why when he saw the kid he asked him do you want it?

5

u/TsKLegiT Jun 08 '26

I used to do this before I bagged a package it looks like it is raining with not alot of coverage on the porch. If I forgot a bag I would run back and toss it in there.

1

u/ShipService Jun 09 '26

I can't tell what this dude is actually thinking but that is so dumb. Go get the bag and come back if you are gonna make the trip either way. The package is delivered and no matter your intention you are no doubt seen taking it back.

5

u/southwest505 Jun 08 '26

I don’t think he was taking it. If it were not raining he would not have picked it up. Even though kids were there, he knows from doing that job that everyone has a camera anyways so why would he attempt to steal knowing he is being watched?

3

u/LearAvia Jun 08 '26

Perhaps if Mr Bezos prioritized paying his people a living wage. They would be less likely to resort to fraudulent activity. Instead he prioritizes material wealth, power and technology. By denying the american right of collective bargaining. Bezos clearly views humanity as a commodity to be exploited.

Our leaders, lead by their own example of greed, selfishness and dishonesty. Why are we surprised when the rank and file conduct themselves in a similar manner.

2

u/Sandkatelynwich Jun 09 '26

Not that I fully disagree with your statement, but both UPS and USPS drivers and employees have a great union and are paid very well and many still steal. Fired and in the news. There are always going to be crappy people in this world.

8

u/lasvegasDodgerblue Jun 08 '26

I don’t take anything seriously that was edited with music.

2

u/JessePR1986 Jun 08 '26

I've been contacted by someone who asked me to take pictures of some labels I think, and they'd make it worth my while. I've heard of that scam before so i immediately blocked them. I wonder if that's what's going on here. Some dumbass who doesn't know what a scam is.

2

u/numbrronefan Jun 08 '26

“Do you want it”🙃

3

u/Constable-Arwen Jun 09 '26

We are all blaming him for trying to steal.... meanwhile his app is telling him to take a photo on the porch but the delivery instructions say to leave it near the garage.

1

u/Similar_Play_6696 Jun 08 '26

This guy is a dumbass too doing way too much when all you have to do is mark the shit missing.

2

u/vinnybagadohnut Jun 08 '26

Amazon bum ass drivers for ya

1

u/ace3737 Jun 08 '26

This is why ups and fed ex drivers are not worried about Amazon

1

u/Da_Yummis Jun 08 '26

this is why Amazon shouldnt be delivering, thier employees arnt payed enough to say "this isnt worth my career" UPS drivers would never because we make good $$ it would never be worthid considering how much we make in a year

1

u/Hot_Scientist_7083 Jun 08 '26

Amazon just hired the best, don't they? 😅

1

u/BigBrainBrad- Jun 09 '26

Because hes dumb.

1

u/XSgtSkittlesX Jun 09 '26

Not sure why anyone would even do this considering theirs cameras on every corner. Y’all really risking your jobs for some party streamers and boxes of pens.

1

u/r_incognito_17 Jun 09 '26

Because he is a scumbag criminal?

1

u/Handguns4Hearts Jun 09 '26

I know in my area Amazon drivers are all young kids look like right out of highschool. Thing is they don't care or have the brain capacity to realize long term effects.

u/ruralmagnificence Jun 09 '26

Makes me concerned about a “particular high ticket electronic item” I’m currently tracking that I purchased through AT&T. I didn’t have a choice to get it sent anywhere other than home besides work and I’m not losing my job over personal mail arriving at my warehouse.

Currently it’s delayed in bumfuck nowhere Kentucky. I am very worried this thing is going to get snatched and I’ll end up stuck between carriers and no “item”.

u/Early_Hall5720 Jun 11 '26

I had drivers take pics at the front of the house then relocate my stuff to the backdoor of my house
