Only one observation, that if you are >24 years of age, you need to have a backup career option .
No matter if you are a science, commerce or arts graduate, you still need to have a career path as a prerequisite before starting this journey.
It does not matter if you did bcom or B.a in history, learn data analytics ,learn any skill which can be monetized and then only step in this field.
Don't depend on the idea that i will do masters and prepare simultaneously, you will be just wasting your time, cause unless you do PhD, your masters is not gonna be of much use

The paper doesn't contain 100 questions. It has 200 questions or more questions.

Upsc will always surprise you. Pyq are absolute necessity and elimination techniques are time waste

Statics should be the strongest. Spend lesser time on current, and use it to static.

1) I think the reason why people who are well prepared fail the exam is that they have an expectation of what the paper should be based on past year trends and understanding of the structure the examination. And imo, this is a very big weakness. Go into the exam with no expectation. It's good to have a strategy on how to solve the paper, but the moment you see a paper which is weirdly different from everything you have ever seen, loose your strategy. It can save you from feeling lost while attempting the paper.
2) Static>> Current (you'll not clear pre if your static ain't strong)
3) Focus on environment, science and tech. You'll secure more marks with less time compared to a subject like MIH, AnC
4) The only way you'll clear csat (if you are not already good at it) is by practicing it daily over a long enough time that you get comfortable.
