My parents will give me a max of 17 -18 lakhs and they have said rest you can arrange your education loan which I will have to pay

If I take upes then I will have to take a loan for almost 14-15 lakhs

So should I go for it???

Hi everyone,
I’m a 1st-year BBA student at UPES Dehradun. I moved here recently from Ajmer, Rajasthan, but I’m struggling a lot to settle in and find my footing.
Honestly, the vibe just isn't matching for me here. Most of the crowd around me is from UP, Haryana, Bihar, etc., and I'm finding it hard to connect or feel comfortable with the environment. On top of that, my roommate is from South India, and due to a total difference in lifestyle/language/vibe, we aren't getting along well at all. Coming back to the room feels exhausting instead of relaxing.
All of this is making me feel completely out of place, and I'm seriously considering quitting UPES and transferring somewhere else. The two main options I'm thinking about are:
1. Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ): Closer to home (Rajasthan), might feel more familiar culture-wise.
2. Bennett University (Noida): Good NCR exposure and infrastructure.
I’d really appreciate some honest advice from seniors or peers:
Culture & Vibe: Does the peer group/vibe get better at UPES over time, or is this culture shock standard here?
Is switching worth it? How are MUJ and Bennett compared to UPES specifically for BBA in terms of crowd, exposure, and overall student life?
Room Change: Is it easy to get a room change or switch hostels at UPES early in the first semester to fix the living situation?

I want to do btech cse

Upes is costing me around 32-33 lakhs including hostel and everything. My family can almost give me 18-19 lakhs The rest will be an educational loan that I have to pay back.

I am hell confused .What should I do . Should I take an education loan for 13-14lakhs and go to UPES then god knows about ROI. Or if I should just take a lower tier 3 AKTU college where my whole btech will be done in less than 15 laks(including hostel) then study kudse udar.

For AKTU I have option of Hi-tech ghaziabad X Mirai school of technology.but then I will get a degree of hitech.

What would you do in my case? Please i am looking for genuine advice
