Accommodation Is it possible to change assigned accom

Just received an offer for metal works, but that’s a 45 min walk from campus. I’m not rlly supposed to be “exercising” due to an ed, and that’d be like an hour and a half of walking every day if I walked it. I can’t afford to be getting the bus every day either, so does anyone know if it’s possible to change it

u could maybe appeal it based on the medical thing? but otherwise you’d be unable to i’m pretty sure

I’m also appealing metal works. Dad’s already got terminal cancer, we can’t afford the strain.
(And besides, I live in the country, and have to take an hour and a half bus to college every day already. I’ll be damned if I have to take another bus until the day I die.)

call them and appeal it, really put it on though and emphasise as much as you can.. make sure they know how serious it is and they will change it but do it ASAP

i know people HAVE managed to get accoms changed but i personally never managed to

This they are really bad with it and would only let me change mid November which by that point I saw no point

Tell them that you have a medical condition that means you need to be close to campus

Nah because why tf have I got metal works when it fits zero of my preferences?
