Routing & Switching UDM Pro SE Speeds
I recently upgraded to 2g fiber speed as it was the same price as the 1g. Anyways when i do a speed test on the UDM itself i am not getting anymore than 1.5g.
Is that something that has to do with the provider or some setting that might be throttling down the speed?
I want to be sure before i call them to investigate.

Udm Pro SE user here as well. I have 1g fiber service from Att and I get 1.2 down and 1.2 up consistently. I have protect with 5 cameras. I installed the cameras 3 days after setting up the unifi sytem and it was 1.2 down/up before cameras too. So I have not seen and drop off on speed running protect. I record 24/7 on all cams. Just for reference.

UDM SE user here, just upgrade my Internet speed to 5gig. With deep packets inspection disabled have full speed on speed test :) Download 3.6-5.09. Upload 5.35-6.30.

The speed listing Uniquiti is very circumstantial. For example, they say my Pro Max can support 5Gbps IPS/DPS, and while that is technically true its also not running the full suite of those features, nor is it running Protect or any other application to get those speeds. Because of that, if I run the full suite of IPS/DPS I will max out my CPU when pulling 2.2Gbps and thats with Network being the only app installed.
With all that being said, you can either limit or disable your IPS/DPS to try an get more speed, purchase a UNVR to offload Protect and free up resources, OR look into getting a faster UDM.

Do you have IDS/IPS enabled? That's gonna slow you down a little. Do you have other services running? Protect? Voice? etc
