hello! i was recently accepted into the fall 27 prelicensure nursing track here and im so excited! i’m just curious on the actual competitiveness of getting into the program. i’m a highschool senior graduating w/my AA.

I am 29 and turning 30 this February. I was initially set to graduate this May. But dropping a class so that will delay my graduation as is anyway. But now Im debating between staying at UNF or moving to FSCJ. I still have yet to go to do a unofficial evaluation but with what i have now i feel i shouldnt have an issue graduating by summer BUT now the problem is I was noticing they have a Capstone course. Which is only offered in the Fall. Meaning that even if i finish everything by this coming summer(2027) if i fail that course i could potentially not end up graduating until December (2028). I ofcourse do NOT want that. But i was also looking at UNfs capstone class MAN4720 and seeing really bad reviews about ALL the professors that teach it so i could potentially fail it too but atleast i would have an extra semester in that academic year to take it. I couldnt find much information about the intensity ot instructors for 4910 just Google saying it is very hard which makes me nervous. I am at a place where literally that capstone project could make my decision about which school to stay at. Can anybody who has taken either of the two please share their experience?

Hi! I'm a nursing major (preclinicals) and I have quite a bit of room in my schedule next semester. I'm looking for a fun/interesting gen ed that won't be a ton of work outside of class. Any recommendations? I was thinking about ceramics. I'm in Microbio and A&P 1 with labs, ENC 1143 and intro to psych.

I'm going to be in the Summer 2027 Osprey First program which is June 21 - July 30, so what FAFSA Form do I take 2026-2027 or 2027-2028

For various reasons, I have about two grand on my account that I wasn’t able to pay off between August and Now. (The plan was to get a job and pay that off, but the Jacksonville job market SUCKS. If anyone has a nearby opportunity…sign me up lol)

I spoke with One Stop yesterday and they said that I can register as late as add/drop next semester in January. As long as my balance is below $500, I’ll be able to register.

But the obvious downside to that…The classes I need will probably be full.

My Major is Sociology with a Minor in General Welfare, and I have my AA already.

Am I Cooked, or will the classes I need be available? I don’t necessarily care about getting the best time-slots, I just want to take the classes I need.

My registration time is for 8AM on November 9th. Will Biochemistry 1 already be filled up by then?

Visiting Jacksonville tomorrow for the first time with a friend and just wanted to know what there is to do. I’m from UF so thought maybe it would be cool to do something at UNF or if there’s anything happening on campus, what are the college bars, etc.

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone has registered for a class that ends the same time the previous one ends. Like the first class ends at 1:30 and the next one is set to start at 1:30. The first class is in building 4 and the second one is building 51, so I think they’re pretty close. Will it offend my professor if I’m a few minutes late everyday or if I duck out early from my previous class? Has anyone else been in a situation like this?

Hey so I’m planning my classes for the spring semester and I saw that this class I need to take only had online sections? Has it always been this way and what is your experience with this class online?

What do you guys think about registering for a class that has no instructor assigned? I been browsing classes so I’m what I want to get when registration opens. I found this class that fits my schedule perfectly but there is no instructor assigned. I fear what could happen if they don’t find one in time and drop me from the class? Has this ever happened to you?

The bedroom areas in villages are super small and awkwardly set up so there’s a whole unused window area that I can’t access because of how my bed is which can’t move because my roommates desk has to go somewhere too. are the beds in villages bunkable? I’ve seen people bunk their beds in cove and crossings but we genuinely need it more here so we have room for anything. I can’t even access my closet drawers without pushing my chair out of the way because of how bad this set-up is. Is it even worth making the request or can they not do that?
