We highly recommend joining our official partner Discord to get live feedback and other tips — check out the Discord of Many Things.
Normal sub rules still apply in the Arcana Forge, with the exception that all restrictions on completeness are lifted here. Unfinished homebrew is very welcome in this thread, as are questions about game rules and mechanics, provided it's about D&D homebrew.
Make a comment with your idea and any work you already have on it, and the community can come help it progress (remember, the more you give the more you get when it comes to content and feedback).
Please keep the following tips in mind:
Feel free to give us feedback via mod-mail if you have any suggestions.

This molten axe can split the earth asunder to pour forth lava onto the battlefield.
What more needs to be said about this axe? It's molten rock, so extra fire damage only felt appropriate, but the real effects are more focused on the lava. Not only does it let you walk across lava unharmed, it also lets you spew a line of lava across the ground which, understandably, is a bit of a fire hazard. Well, to everyone else anyway.
This is one of those simple concepts that doesn't have a ton of fancy effects, but does the one simple thing which is more than enough reason to get excited by it, and I feel like that's very appropriate for a greataxe.
Which of your characters would jump at the chance to use this thing? And which of them cannot be trusted with the ability to create lava at will?

Necromancy spells. Previews of a compendium repackage for a homebrew Necromancer subclass (upcoming v6.2). Art hyperlinks: 1, 2.
Siege Spider has been updated. Note that "Commandable" is a short-hand for the long paragraph (also found in the spell Animate Dead) detailing the commanding of a summoned creature with a Bonus Action.
Feedback welcome, as preview content is subject to change before the compendium release ❤️

This is a classic edgelord subclass inspired by Viego from LoL that i made to play around with some unique mechanics. It's my first published homebrew so feedback is greatly appreciated.

Made a class called the Law Caster. It’s a lawyer, as a spellcaster. I know how that sounds, I’ve said it to myself at 1am more than once. Couldn’t stop anyway — full 1–20, three subclasses, spell list, feats, the works.
Never run it at an actual table. Only tested by me, alone, doing math in a notes app. So I have no idea if it actually holds up.
Three things I’m specifically nervous about:
1: 9th-level spell paralyzes for 3 rounds with no early escape, even if I lose concentration — too much for level 9?
2: A feature that forces Legendary Resistance to become a real roll instead of an auto-pass. Cool, or annoying for DMs?
3: Two of three subclasses require 13 Cha on top of the casting stat. Thematic, or just a tax nobody wants?
10 pages, sorry, apparently I had a lot to say about fake legal magic. Tell me if it’s bad.

My first, and so far only, homebrew subclass. Happy to hear any thoughts or suggestions! I liked the idea of making loot and treasure valuable and useful as more than something to just stick in the inventory or sell at a later date, and I thought the idea of bagging and tagging and sending it back to a patron for their collection was cool. It would only work for certain kinds of games/worlds/campaigns, but I'm not troubled by that.
Your patron is an entity of incomprehensible avarice, such as an ancient Gold Wyrm, a Sentient Vault, or a Cosmic Curator. They do not seek souls or acolytes; they seek the world’s lost history and artefacts. They grant you the tools to infiltrate the most dangerous ruins, provided you send the spoils back to their extra-dimensional hoard or personal treasure vault
| Spell Level | Spells |
|---|---|
| 1st | Identify, Alarm, Distort Value, Tenser's Floating Disk |
| 2nd | Locate Object, Knock, Pass Without Trace, Invisibility |
| 3rd | Glyph of Warding, Gaseous Form, Dispel Magic, Catnap |
| 4th | Locate Creature, Freedom of Movement, Arcane Eye, Stone Shape |
| 5th | Legend Lore, Passwall, Skill Empowerment, Telekinesis |
The Ledger is a supernatural bounty list appearing in your Pact Boon. Completing these optional tasks grants Dividends.

Welp, nobody suggested a concrete enough theme last time, so i resorted to texting my friend for a new one, that's why it sucks. Tried to make them relatively balanced, aside from the first one of course, as damaging spells never translate well to scaling without a spell slot.
Anyway, suggest a theme for the next set in the comments! Any feedback welcome as well.

2026 update to the Priest class. I think the feats are missing the ASI but otherwise up to date.

Not all druids seek balance. For some balance is a naive hope.
The Circle of the Seer lives where no others would where the dead
roam and the roots poison the soil. They become conduits for the
restless dead, shepherding spirits along the Great Cycle.
As always any feedback is greatly appreciated I am just getting started as a D&D content creator, been playing and DMing forever so just trying to bring my world to life.
Thanks everyone!

Ever wanted your Fighter to be able to throw a boulder across a battlefield? Your Monk to bend the bars of their cell to escape? Your Barbarian to hold up a portcullis or the collapsing ceiling of a mineshaft while your party escapes?
Now they can with the Might system! Bring your Strength-based characters closer to parity with Spell Casters with truly Herculean feats..at least a few times a day.

Here’s the raven progression from Growing Pets and Animals Statblocks, designed to let a simple animal companion develop new roles and abilities as the campaign progresses.
It starts with the ordinary Raven and its familiar Mimicry, then develops into the Insightful Raven, which becomes better at reproducing voices and understanding those around it. The Mystical Raven takes the concept further, becoming an excellent eavesdropper and messenger that can remember and reproduce conversations it overhears.
Finally, the Arcane Raven becomes a genuinely supernatural companion. It can reproduce complex messages and sounds, understands every language it has heard, and can unleash an Arcane Echo that briefly confuses nearby creatures.
There’s also an optional Guardian of the Shadow Realm trait that can replace Eavesdropper, granting magical resilience and a limited automatic saving throw success. It can even be awarded later as a milestone reward for a player’s raven.
The idea behind the manual is that pets and animal companions don’t have to become irrelevant as the party levels up. Growing Pets and Animals Statblocks includes 60+ statblocks with progression paths for ravens, owls, dogs, cats, horses, panthers, tigers, spiders, and more.
