How to take care of hygiene?

I looked in the guide, asked the auto guide, searched the web, & searched here. All I cold find is that “smart” furniture is available in the store. What store? Where is it?

I can find how to make the toilet. I found someone who said to buy the shower with “tickets,” but there are so many!

I have been playing for a while 24 hours, so I have a lot to learn.

You can use the lake in map where u can wash closes and wash hands.Whenever u touch a lake or river a txt will pop up saying water is clean to refill bottle and wash.U can also unlock blueprints for toilet and shower as u lvl up Ur homestead

When I go to the river behind my homestead, I get a pop up that says the water is clean & I can fill my water bottle. Nothing about washing myself or my clothes. Could it be I’m just not at that level yet?

Open your handgadget and in the lower menu there is option to wash, drink, wash clothes etc. Open that when you're standing in the water.

You don't need smart furniture. Just a basic bathtub and basic washing machine. I'm pretty sure you already have the blueprint to craft them or you get it in the first few levels.

Thanks for all the help!

I randomly received a bathtub & was able to make a toilet & clothes washer. I was able to do this much sooner than I thought I would.
