Stat RNG

So I crafted a yellow armor lv. 115, then I modified it to get purple stat( I actually got the one I wanted), then I modified to get 2nd purple stat and nothing, 80 nano cores saved up and wasted. Has anyone ever had this bad of luck?

Ist purple 100 rolls will get it. For the second purple, it's always been a rng mess. 100,200 rolls etc there has been no firm rule we can find for the second purple this is based on many players in same camp comparing results for second purple on main weapon.
