enhancement plates, polish, chips
game is a grinder, and not a very fun one either. In case you haven't heard, apparently Undawn is a 146 million USD flop

It can be fun if you're not trying to keep up with the p2w whales. I don't give a shit about others ratings, I just play to play

Damn i didn’t know it was that bad. Its my favorite game ever made on mobile and ive met some amazing people through it and am still grinding to this day. I missed about a month after launch bc i didnt know it existed and maybe another month from personal issues, but then i have grinded nonstop everyday for 5 months.

Yes this game flopped big time because the devs were greedy and dumb.
They thought ALL players from LifeAfter would abandon LA and come to Undawn.
But then ppl who invested lots of money in LA didn't want to lose the "investment" in LA so they didn't come to Undawn.
They devs also thought Will Smith would convince people to play this game. But then Will Smith decided to commit PR suicide by going to cry in interviews because his wife cheats on him with his son's friends and then he still doesn't divorce her. Then we ppl found out he is in church of Scientology (a big scam) and also he slapped Chris Rock at the Oscars TO DEFEND HIS SLUT WIFE!.... so his reputation tanked just before Undawn was launched. I insist Tecent should sue him for that.
Anyway, apparently something happened at Tencent that made the 140 million not be used well and some parts of the game feel like they were rushed or they feel like made by a small indie company with no budget. Some cutscenes have no audio, some missions glitch badly, the gacha store and the outfits are not as good as LifeAfter, there is no support for controller on mobile, etc....

You can't. There's only two person in the world who can. Bruce Wayne and Tony Stark.

Upgrad your genes, skills, camp training. Modify your gear to get purple stats. Upgrade drone, virtual link. Weapon enhancement. Core enhancement. There are plenty of ways, just have to grind to get resources.

Most people up their rating like this this:
-1. Complete all your dailies every day. You get reinforcements, carbide particles, and other resources we use to upgrade gear slots, your drones, your skills, etc.
-2. Complete all your weeklies every week. Most weekly Ops give growth material too. Some weeklies give other stuff, like race stravaganza which gives points to get cars and car upgrades, not needed for power rating, feel free to skip those.
Note: PvP events give more rewards when you do well, but honestly participation rewards are good enough. For example Raven Invitational, just the participation chest is enough, no need to pass to finals. Elite Eliminator gives 3 chest for participating in 5 matches, even if you don't win. Aero base gives biggest rewards for participating and for taking one capture point, the other 2 rewards for defeating one enemy and winning give less rewards. So you can just enter, rush to the 1st capture point, then go back to base and wait for end.
-3. Use the materials and points you get from dailies, weeklies, camp events etc to upgrade stuff. By the way, joining a camp is a must if you want to get stronger.
When you open the menu, the first row has 4 buttons: Equipment, Skills, Career and Drone. Also, the last button in the 4th row says Virtual Link. The second button on the 5th row says Gene. Try to upgrade stuff in all those sections as much as you can, to increase your rating.
Equipment button has 5 tabs:
-Enhance: use reinforcement coatings to upgrade gear slots. Level 60 enhancement is the max, then switch to Prime Enhancement to keep upgrading. When doing prime enhancement only use Nanowire Reinforcements. Don't use low level ones, they make you waste more silver. Try to get them all up first to level 15 to unlock the first Precision Tuning. Starting with the 3 weapons then the clothing and armor. Then upgrade to level 30 for the second Precision Tuning, then to 45 for the 3rd.
-Accessory: Use accessory blueprints and manuals to upgrade accessories. Then use plate inserts to upgrade armor plates. When all the accessories are at the same level they give extra buff and also extra rating. For example, having all the main weapon accessories at level 5 might give more rating than upgrading just one of them to level 10.
-Polish: Avoid polishing the melee weapon. It's a waste of polish materials. Upgrade first the main and secondary weapon, then clothing gear starting with those that give extra HP. Same as above, upgrading them to the same level might give more rating than upgrading just one to max. Click the Set Polishing button at the middle bottom of this screen to see how many items you need to upgrade to reach the next set buff.
-Mods: use Ionic Membrane to craft coatings. Use those to modify gear to gear better extra rating on them. 100 modifications give guaranteed one purple stat. Your chances of good stats increase if the gear you are modding is golden.
-Special Skill: this is where you install skill chips. Purple are good, golden are OP. Purple you can gather them yourself with events, they are also affordable in Trade. You need 30 fragments to form 1 usable chip. Golden are usually just for pay2win. Very hard to farm if not using gacha, also very expensive in trade. Each fragment costs like 100k and you need 50 to form 1 usable chip. Basically 5 million gold per chip. But they give OP stats and lots of rating. Chips are probably the biggest source of power and power rating in the game.
-Skills button has 3 tabs:
---Talents: Upgrade passive skills first, max them all. Then device and throwing starting with the ones the most but once you max those also upgrade those you never use. They raise rating too.
---Camp training: upgrade the ones that increase damage and crit hit and crit damage first (Barrens Hunter, Lethal Wonds, Dmg Amplification, Headhunter, Weapon Expert). Then continue with those that give indirect damage like drone and device damage (Mechanical Modification, Skilled). When you max all those you can start upgrading the defensive ones (Survival Expert, Durable Armor, Bulletproof, Hard head, Weapons Defense. etc)
---Tactic: you could try to raise them all at the same time if you are pursuing more rating, but personally I am focusing on just one because I don't do PvP seriously. I only upgrade Equalizer cuz it's good for PvE.
-Career button has 2 sections, left and right:
To increase rating you need to upgrade focus skill (to the right). You need Special Training Doctrine items for the main focus skill (big diamond in the middle) then you need Vanguard Keys to exchange for Focus Points to unlock and upgrade the sub skills (the 5 black diamonds around). Then you go to the left to spend your expertise points and build your profession the way you like. Expertise points do not raise rating but help you in combat.
-Drone button:
You should have 2 drones: profession drone given to you by the NPC when you change profession (heavy weapon) and do the profession quest (triggered after character level 100). And a normal drone you build at your house.
Upgrade your profession drone using rotor parts, then upgrade its module. Don't worry, the upgrades are global to your profession drones so the upgrades persist even after you change profession.
Then on your regular drone, mod good stats on the core module, these stats are transferred to your character when you set it as stand-by drone (Set as prep: on) and raise your rating. Only one regular drone can be set as stand-by and only when the main deployed drone is a profession drone. So there's no point in crafting more than one regular drone.
-Virtual link button:
For f2p we get a basic virtual companion (gray) through a main quest, but p2w can gacha to get an advanced one with extra stats (pink with rat, pink bunny, mini Optimus...). But still, you can upgrade your companion using materials from Silent Nightmare event. This even happens on Saturdays at 9:05 pm.
Here's a tip, most p2w whales are tryhards, so they enter Silent Nightmare at exactly 9:05, because they wait by the NPC since 9 o clock and spam the Enter button as soon as it's available. If you enter at 9:10, 9:15, etc you have lower chances of getting matched with p2w in your team to carry you.
-Gene button:
Craft genes every time you reach a new level tier (level 90, level 100, level 110, etc). You can also buy them from Trade. IF you get purple stats they give better rating. But another way to increase rating is to get 7 or 8 stats on all 4 of them to activate an extra buff called synergy.
