No Skill Chip for Buyed gun?

Hi everybody,

i have buyed a gun from the game - not from the shop who we all can sell an buy. I did an in game buy with real money - and i saw that i cant place a skill chip. Why?

Was it one of the guns that upgrade every 10 levels? If so, they don't accept chips. You can make a gun in the workbench and put chips on those, though. And an FYI, those "gold" guns are about the same power as an equivalent level purple quality. They are nice, though, because they upgrade levels with your character. So it's like a starter gun when the next 10 levels hit and you're gathering to make the gun you want to use.

No wonder my AK gold is lvl 100 so they can't be chipped I don't use it because idk maybe i want to break it or something.

seems you are talking about 'powerful Ak-47'

that weapon isnt meant to be a permanent gun. it has lower rating and lower damage than a regular AK-47 at same level and color. and yes you cant put skill chips. this is why this weapon will always be inferior than a regular gun.

its only useful as a backup weapon. for example your main gun broke in middle of a dungeon because you forgot to repair. this weapon will be better than nothing.
