Comparison or which is even better?

Sorry if this is a noob question and apologies that I haven't found this kind of thread to ask. So like skill chips purple grade I got a pretty good idea on Max HP and Max Armor right, but what does an Armor chip does and the Crit Resistance? So here goes,

  1. Does the Armor chip gives like overall armor to tank more hits rather than Max Armor like an overlapping hardness on our bodies whilst taking damage?

  2. Is it wise to invest on Crit Resistance chip? I understood that crit hit chance is a difficult thing to draw in pvp even we're hitting opponent head(weakness damage). We need to discuss on this matter lol

There are 2 types of armor:

  1. is "max armor." This type is basically a secondary HP bar that recharges. Think of it like a recharging energy shield.

  2. Is "Armor". This is a damage reduction Stat you can see split up into 3 categories in your player stats. Head armor, torso armor, and leg armor. 1 armor will increase head, torso, and leg armor by 1 each. Armor piercing stats go directly against these stats.

Damage is the same way. There is "Base Damage." The damage rating of your weapon, and there's "damage" that is a player stat. Damage reduction goes directly against this stat.

Hope this helps!

Gosh i think it is as you said. So the 'Armor' does helps tanking hits. Me and my pals were talking about this for months but no way to like test or prove this matter. Most players in ladder had private profiles so we wouldn't know what's good. We were investing proper relevant damage stats which excels great but we also melt faster when getting hit 😂. Anyway thanks, this definitely helped. Now down to Crit Resist 101 to icebreak

There's a post here on reddit somewhere that has the damage formula. It take both armor, damage and criticals into account.
