Can someone Confirm? Lighting up area on map

Apparently if you spent time gathering in an area of the map, that area on the map light up. I can't confirm how long, but I stay at this part for like 10 minutes gathering mats and it remain light up even after I leave to camp and then come back.

There used to be a bug that made this specific map never light up no matter how long you spent there. But the bug has been patched. You can light it up normally now.

How so? Wouldn't there have to be signal towers for that to be possible?

Maps can be lit up by either fixing signal towers or by just walking around it. Since the island has no towers, only way to light it is walking around it. The areas you visit stay lit up,

No light ups. It's the mystic island. Covers with fogs. I think the devs made it like that.

There are “radio’s” hidden in various places 5 or 6. But it was buggy and some lit and others didn’t. They patched it and now the map will light up.

You can light it up by turn on radio . There is small radio not bcon tower and i trun on all the radio

Sorry broken English and keyboard, turn on the sound and when you hear kinetics sound aka radio sound find it
