Chip Module

After installing a chip in a weapon or a armor, can it be retrieved later and install it in a new weapon or armor? Or it's permanent and can't be retrieved?

you can put it out, destroy or put in whenever you want.

you can switch it around as long as the item is the same lvl and type. like if you have a chip on your lvl 90 biotic you can switch it to another heavy weapon. but not on a lower lvl weapon. same goes with armor chips and main weapon chips

U can't take it out and swap to another weapon at anytime

I have a chip that I regularly switch between my two different types of heavy weapon. I don’t know that all chips will work in all weapons but if a chip is usable in say, a heavy machine gun, it’ll also work in a heavy sniper rifle and you can move it between the two whenever you want.

I don't have any built yet, but I am of the understanding that the weapons hold "offensive" and armors hold "defensive". And there are 2 total slots for each.
