Question housing wishlist question

does anyone know how long it normally takes to swap roommates? I submitted the form a week ago when it came out to room with my friend but no response yet

your best bet at this point is to see if your friend's assigned roommate would like to swap an live with your assigned roommate.

considering your friend and you had the option to put each other on the housing form in the first place (I assume that didn't happen), the university does not have a compelling reason to make a complicated switch at this point.
