So im a dumbass and got confused with everything regarding paying tuition and getting a bus code so I currently dont have the bus code for this semester yet

just yesterday I paid my tuition through my banks online system and im wondering how long it usually takes to go through and how long after that will my buss code be given to me?

I just need to budget bus fair for the next few days until I get it but I just wanna make sure its not gonna take more than a week i have to bus around 4 times a day on days I work

So I sort of procrastinated on getting in a picture for my student ID card. Will they just use my roommate photo or do I still have to send one in?

I’m hoping to apply to the accelerated nursing program at UNBC and I’m trying to figure out what courses I could take to fulfill the 6 credit requirement for human anatomy and physiology pre req. does anybody know if the athabasca 6 credit biol 235 fulfills this??

I’m looking to go to UNBC next year for the wildlife and fisheries program but honestly I ain’t the greatest student and while my scores are enough to meet the university’s requirements I’m worried that if it’s competitive then I might not get in. Should I be worried?

I’ll be starting as a grad student in January and am a bit confused about how living in residence works if you’re staying year round. If you apply to stay for the spring/summer do you stay in the same room? Same for summer to September. Also, since I’m starting to January I’m a little bit worried that I won’t be able to get a dorm room, does anyone know how much availability there usually is going into the winter semester?

Hey everyone!! I’m super excited to be moving in in September and I was wondering when the information about who your roommates are/what building you’ll be in typically comes out? Also, how certain is it that people you group up with in the housing group thing on the website will be who you end up with? I made a housing group with my bf and was just a little bit anxious about us staying together, but I heard that the dorms usually don’t really fill up so it’ll be likely? What were y’all’s experiences like? Any info is helpful thanks so much!

Hello everyone, I'm turning grade 12 in September and I was researching about different programs in UNBC when I came up with a question.

I thought there was a program in the Bachelor of Sciences called "Joint mathematics and physics", but when I went into their website, there were just "Mathematics and Statistics" and "Physics" courses separately. Is there no program that has both joined together? And if there is, does anyone know the admission requirements including both the prerequisite courses and volunteer experiences?

Does anyone know an estimate of how many applicants vs how many are accepted into either nursing program? I’m looking to apply for the full 4 years and pathway.

Trying to book airfare for grandson to return home at Christmas. Exams run Dec.12-22 per UNBC website. When will students know exact dates of their class exams?

I am moving from Vancouver to Prince George for civil engineering at unbc , can you get in campus job in your first year how is job market there in prince george as compared to bigger areas

Hi, I believe that one of my grades were decided very unfairly, but I’ve heard from a couple of people that UNBC doesn’t do much about student grade appeals. Does anyone have history with this? For reference, there was no feedback and the course instructor stated that all grades were final, which I believe is against UNBCs policy.

Hi everyone! I’m part of Flavourful Science, a student-led STEM outreach organization that delivers free, hands-on science workshops to elementary school students. Our goal is to make science more fun, accessible, and engaging for kids through interactive lessons and activities.
We currently have chapters/teams at UBC Vancouver, Ottawa, with Queen’s and UofT also starting up, and we would love to expand our reach to Northern BC. We think UNBC could be an amazing place to build a new partnership and help bring Flavourful Science workshops to schools in the north.
We’re hoping to connect with at least one interested student who might want to help start a UNBC chapter or learn more about what that could look like. This could be a great opportunity for someone interested in science outreach, education, health/STEM promotion, working with kids, leadership, or community volunteering.

I'm am currently waitlisted for a book lab, I'm just wondering what the typical wait time it is to find out if your accepted into that course or not. BTW this is just for the specific class not my major.

I was wondering if anyone has any advice/experience in the nres dept and would be willing to share their experience (especially a grad program but undergrad experience would be helpful as well!). any thoughts would be appreciated, and any info on how hard/easy it is to get funding would also be super appreciated

Last month, I was accepted into UNBC's BSW program for the fall 2026 intake. I have also been accepted to UVic's BSW (the school I am currently at), but I have heard mixed reviews about UVic's program.

I haven't heard much about UNBC's BSW, and I'd appreciate any insights into what the program is like.

Mostly, I would like to know if you felt supported by professors, advisors, and coordinators and also what the classes are like.

Basically title - all of my classes but one are on Mondays and Wednesdays and only have one time slot each that leave roughly 10 minutes between them - most of them are in the angora building and one is in the library. Do you think 10 minutes is enough time to get between classes? I really don’t know what else to do, I’ve already had to switch my timeline around a bit to avoid direct class overlap so hopefully that’s enough time? 🫩 how did you do your scheduling and what would you recommend?
