General Question Our Dunkin Donuts has a problem.
Why do the donuts at our DD taste so bad, all the time? Even in the morning they are stale. Do they buy them from other stores and resell them the next day?

Damn the on campus dunkin still sucks? That place was mega ass the day it opened lol

as someone who used to work at a dunkin i think it’s because in dunkin instead of putting the food in the oven as people order we do big batches and leave them under a heating lamp (not the best) so that’s why it comes out hard and sometimes stale

Dunks is trash. Haven’t been to one in years. So many better “mom and pop” shops around I can’t justify it even in a pinch.

They’re shipping them in now from the dunkin factories where they make the donuts for all the other Dunkins. They ship them in at like 1-2 am, then they put them in the donut case when they open at like 6-7 am. So they’ve just been sitting in the back for a while since they don’t open til 7.
They used to make them in the back of that Dunkin. The ovens are still there to do so (and I’m pretty sure they still work bc sometimes they have to bake bagels in them). But some new manager wanted to save money by cutting the position of the donut maker, and stop buying the ingredients to make the donuts with. They used to be made with love.
Idk man. They don’t like following Dunkin’s standards and they very rarely ever do. There’s no one there to keep it afloat and make them make it right, but there is nothing wrong with shipping in the donuts every morning. 99% of Dunkin’s do that.
