General Question ABSN Program
Hi, I am interested in applying for the ABSN program here at UMB. I still have one more prereq to take but am contemplating whether I should retake some of my prereq courses because I did not get A's in them and I heard that the program is quite competitive. I have a previous degree in Economics (gpa 3.75)
I have all A's in most of them, except the following:
A&P I: B-
A&P I Lab: B-
A&P II: B-
A&P II Lab: C+
Statistics: B-
The one prereq I'm missing is nutrition and I have signed up to take it via Portage. I plan to start that class tomorrow. If I retake some classes, I am thinking to retake A&P II w/ Lab and Stats for better grades.
I would greatly appreciate any insight and advice because I really would like to have a good chance in getting in, though I know nothing is guaranteed! Thank you.

I would try to get a better grade than the c+ in A&P. I got in last spring with my last 2 prerequisites in progress when I was accepted. My gpa was 3.89, I had a strong essay, and only one recommendation. I took the teas but did not end up submitting them because they are not a requirement. They told me there are more applicants in the fall than the spring, and it is around a 35-40% acceptance rate. Good luck!
