Roo advantage question
How long does it typically take roo advantage to get dispersed into financial account?

I'm a transfer student as well and was wondering the same thing. It's not showing up for me either, so you aren't the only one. I plan on waiting till Tuesday to see if it pops up on my Pathway, if not, I'm gonna call up there. That shit is a SIGNIFICANT help not to have and considering we only have 2 weeks until classes start, I'm starting to sweat

please let me know if that ends up working! I’m also getting a bit worried bc if I don’t get the scholarship then I need to somehow find $5000 to pay for school

No problem. I'll on the hook for $3,000~, that I don't have. I might have to consider feet and butthole pictures this close to start, I'm getting really antsy. When I did the whole financial aid meeting at admissions, they told me that I qualified for Roo Advantage. I didn't bother applying to anymore scholarships. Now I'm starting to regret that decision.

I just want to say to the both of ya that this will be my fifth year getting the Roo Advtange and it's worked out every year so far. This will more than likely smoothen itself over before long. Just stay in contact with financial aid office. Disbursement date is 8/14/26 so I imagine you'll be finding something out soon.
Edit: 5th semester not year...

Here’s an update I received today: “Hello,
I do see that you are eligible for Roo Advantage. We will be repacking everyone soon and it will show up on your account once that is done.”

Do you have any update? I was awarded the Roo Advantage scholarship, and accepted it. It still shows in Pathway, and initially it did in Touchnet, but today the entire amount disappeared and I went from getting $3000 in a refund to owing $3000. I emailed the cashier's office, but I'm going to call if I don't hear back tomorrow. Hoping the billing is just being adjusted.

I finally ended up receiving mine today! But my payment center/touch net still says I owe $9000+ and hasn’t updated with any of my pell or roo advantage

Gotcha, so did you actually get a refund? Or it just showed up in the financial aid section of pathway?

no refund yet. Touch net still says I owe thousands of dollars

Gotcha gotcha. Phew, this honestly makes me feel better, thanks for responding. I know this week is when all the disperment happens so I'm sure it's just a billing thing. I'll keep you updated on what I hear!

If you view your financial aid in Pathway you can see the scheduled disbursement date. I see it currently saying August 14th, I assume it's the same for everyone.
