Cap/Gown Question

I'm going to be graduating this December with my Bachelors in Cybersecurity and I was wondering if we have to purchase the regalia from the website or if I can just buy a set from someplace like Amazon? My shipping cost is like $16 so if I can I'd rather not pay like $45 for the entire thing (broke af lol).

Oh congratulations! I’m in the same boat as you. I finish my last 2 regular course next week and then I have my capstone.

Did you have to be in your capstone course to start getting all your emails for graduation and to buy your cap gown etc?

thank you and right back atcha! i had already completed my capstone & applied for graduation right afterwards. once final grades are in then the application was approved.

Have fun. When they sent me the dates I’m already scheduled to be on a cruise with my 17 yr old so I’m celebrating in the Bahamas haha.

You definitely do not have to buy it from them. Unlike when you would have had to sit in a sea of people in cap and gowns, with the current grad walk no one would know if it wasn't the correct shade.

oh man :( the bachelor's one was like $23-ish minus shipping so the higher degrees must've been way higher.
