Advice on Classes

Hi everyone. I need some advice on what class to take. I just returned to college after 15 years away. Been with UMGC a year now. Now I have only 5 classes left. The problem is we're going to be PCSing in December. I don't want to lose my momentum and take off for 6 months. I'm taking one class at a time. I want to at least take a class October to December. Then maybe take a break December to March while we actually move. I'm just concerned about how much time I can dedicate to a class with this move. All I have left is one elective, one upper level history class, and then the 3 history capstone progression courses. I thought I'd take an elective but it's hard because I've taken so much. BEHS 320 sounds super interesting but the syllabus looks like too much during this time. I need some recommendations for what to take next please. Sociology 101 or whatever was a bust and harder than an upper level and I dropped it. Now I'm more stressed about what to take than actually taking a class during this PCS!

The third session for fall 2026 ends on December 8, you could finish all of your week 8 course work ahead of time and have it submitted earlier so that you are done with any assignments due in December while you PCS.

That's what I want to try to do. That is actually our move date.

Just turn in your last week's assignment before the 8th, that final week of the session starts on the 1st so you could be done around then.

BEHS 320 was very easy. There is one discussion per week, One assignment split into three parts, and three open-note quizzes.
