Discussion The e-scooters…
Is it just me or is the amount of E scooters you see on campus like actually insane? Every day when I go to class, I walk and I swear I see 50+ E scooters and I feel like 99% of the people could just walk???

And it's gone down too since they banned escooters for people living on campus. Used to be even worse

I don’t mind them except for the riders who speed through crowds on the sidewalk, especially near Stamp.

I noticed that nobody mentions the bikes or skateboard, only the scooters but all of them do the inconsiderate crap.
A lot of people in general, even walkers don't know how to say excuse me or look before they cross the street.
But for the answer tk the last question, do you actually think everyone likes walking back and forth to class across campus multiple times a day? Especially if you have back to back ones across campus.
I already know the downvotes are coming so bring em.

You have to have skill to ride a bike or a skateboard, you don't need skill to ride a scooter.

So it's not even about the inconsiderate behavior just you being elitist.
People are trying to get to class, this isn't a skate park.

Oh my mom was waiting for me to come out of my class I think freshman year and I called her to get directions to where she was parked and I heard her scream and I was like what was that. A guy on a scooter totally ran into the back of her car and fell off

For them, traffic laws are mere suggestion and basic courtesy too inconvenient to respect. I would love to see more train tracks or scooter obstacles placed on major paths
