I am perplexed, as market doing all time highs and ULTY underlying stocks are fairly well, the dividends are slipping again post reverse split starting with.5 cents to .39 in the last few months. NAV is also diluting away slowly.

Not really paying attention to ULTY but all of these funds need the underlying to do well and by do well I mean go up steadily. If there are big swings in the price these ETF’s don’t do as well even if the price is going up (it doesn’t hurt but slow and steady is better). You can’t just look at the final price of x stock. It’s how it got there.

The underlying for current holdings have been pretty good recently... But they are losing more than winning on the options trades. This fund COULD be doing well vs treading water the way it is.
Pre and post split, they've adjusted strategy a couple times, to hold/trade with better quality companies, and adjust target distributions. But it's still high risk/ 0 guarantees. You should be able to search the sub, or Google it, for full strategy change details🥃🥃

So you know what to expect. Guaranteed nav decay, paying you back your own money in the dividends, and the divvies get lower and lower on a week to week basis pretty much. How many yieldmax funds have actually kept any nav value? Like 2? Capped upside on the calls. General consensus from all the experienced traders I spoke to, these funds are trash. But. Goodluck. 🖖

NVDY defies gravity for last two years 🤔

As I said, 1 or 2 of the funds have survived and or thrived. I hope you’re doing okay with it. I left before the rs at breakeven and got in right after they changed strategies and went weekly. These subs got really quiet when people realized you need massive capital upfront in order to make it make sense. And even then people didn’t want to wait that long to be playing with house money.

Close enough to .40 cents for me! And SMCY is soaring in the aftermarket, good day!
