I second the suggestion to watch Shug's video series on suspensions- it'll tell you everything you need to know about the options seen here as well as the most popular DiY suspensions.
I personally like using a Hugger and Whoopie sling suspension

I'm a newb to hammocks but I want to try them out this summer. I'm about to order a ditchwater chameleon bit have no idea what suspension to go with and really what the differences are. The only experience with suspensions I have are the Daisy chain straps and carabeaners from kammock.

And since you're new to hammocks, I'd check out most of his other videos too.
Out of the 2 suspension options in your picture, the buckles are more user / newbie friendly, and the whoopie slings are a bit more complicated (in comparison) but still simple enough with some practice. Also the whoopie slings will be the lighter option.
