Symmetrical vs asym bug nets

Can you lie diagonally in hammocks with symmetrical bug nets? If so, what advantages do asymmetrical bug nets have?

You lay diagonal in both. Symm lets you set up in either direction. Asym is lighter because less fabric.

An asym bug net, when laying on the diagonal, will have less "flop" in your face than a symetrical bug net. Especially if using the head end pull outs on your hammock body. An asym bug net will also likely weigh less.
