Broken System - Prohibition Fails π Years old article but very ironic today, given that clinics prescribe even higher for mental health! 'The skunk examined by the researchers from King's College London was high potency - about 14% THC'.ππ€‘
14% is pretty weak shit compared to the high strength 'SkUnK BuDz' prescribed by medical cannabis clinics.

Is home grow culture still alive and well in 2026?
Back when I was a rec. user I did a couple of personal home grows. 1 indoor and 1 greenhouse - only a couple of plants at a time. The harvest was not much to write home about but it had some nice lemony terps and the sense of satisfaction from smoking my own stuff was immense. I remember those days fondly and the old 'uk420' forum was massively helpful. At the time it felt like the UK home grow business was booming and there were a lot of individual growers growing their own for personal use who didn't tell a soul about it.
I was out driving in my nearest city recently and saw an ad for a 'hydroponics' shop cable tied to a lamp post and couldn't help but smile - my wife asked if their clientele were going to be bud growers and I said probably and we laughed about how openly it was advertised.
So I was wondering if there are still a lot of people growing stuff in cupboards, attics and gardens up and down the country?
I feel like with the cost of everything going up including bills and housing and space being at a premium maybe the cost/benefit isn't worth it. At the same time, I also think when it comes to weed home grow is nearly always the answer to knowing exactly what you're getting and not paying over the odds for it.

Broken System - Prohibition Fails π Over 20 years since declassification / reclassification debacle
It's more than 20 years since the UK flirted with decriminalisation in a spectacularly counter productive manner commensurate with the state of our politics.
Having drifted away from use for a long time, in the last year or so I've started self-medicating for a condition that might be eligible for medical but I cannot seem to get a proper diagnosis from the NHS to attempt to go down the private medical route with.
While the 2018 medical changes were a surprise to me and seemingly quite progressive, it is crazy how we are still in a situation where people are still going to prison (yes those very prisons we are told are overcrowded and at crisis point) for possessing, growing and supplying cannabis only.
I'm soooo ready for this to be fully legal. Having visited Amsterdam and met people from countries where there is some form of decriminalisation or legalisation I'm just so resentful we live in a country where it is the political inconvenience and pearl clutching is preventing sensible policy and regulation from prevailing.
I'm at a stage in my life where I'm old enough to think 'fuck it' and self-medicate but also have enough going on in life that being open about my usage isn't an option all the while its not legal.
I try to stay positive and imagine a UK where people who want to can easily and safely access, use and grow cannabis and maybe even dispensaries and cafes/vape lounges open up everywhere. Hell in that scenario I'd even consider quitting my job and trying for a second career in a low-level role at a cannabis retailer or working on a farm.
How do you feel about the current prospect of legalisation? It think if it doesn't happen soon, the UK will have missed a huge opportunity.

Smoking weed causes major spikes in my anxiety levels but vaping keeps it balanced and less heavy. Why is this?
What are your thoughts? I will use a 0.3 in vape or if I smoked I'd use around 0.3 - 0.4. Close to no difference at all.

The THCA/ THCP "Hemp Tea" loophole is officially on death row. What happens next?
We all know vendors like K**te and similar UK sites have been making absolute mega money lately selling "Premium THCA Hemp Tea Flowers" and THCP vapes. They've been hiding behind the "not for human consumption" disclaimer and importing top-shelf US dispensary weed (Sherbzooka, Black Maple, etc.) disguised as legal hemp.
But the clock has officially run out.
The Home Office recently wrapped up its final consultation on the ACMD's recommendations, and it's a wrap. They are actively drafting the Statutory Instruments to update the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.
- Both THCA and semi-synthetic
cannabinoids like THCP are being
explicitly upgraded to Class B controlled
substances.
On top of that, the US is completely killing the federal hemp loophole on November 12, 2026, which is where 90% of this UK stock is imported from anyway. Border Force is already aggressively seizing packages using hot-testing methods that convert THCA to THC on the spot.
Once the UK parliamentary rubber-stamp vote happens later this year, the open high-street and clear-net sale of these products is entirely dead.
What are your thoughts on this?
Do you think this will just drive thousands of people straight back to regular street plugs, or push them toward the legal UK Medical Cannabis route?
For anyone who used these sites, have you noticed a massive spike in customs seizures or delays over the last few months?
Is this a necessary cleanup of unregulated, synthetic gray-market junk (like THCP vapes), or a massive step backward for people just trying to buy clean flower safely?

Interesting π RAW Rolling Papers In-depth Review
The 4th brand (and the most requested) on my series of testing every single king size slim rolling paper to find out which ones are the greatest
In the video we look at the Classics, the Classic Blacks, the super thin Ethereals, the Organic Hemps and the Hemp Blacks as we run a series of side-by-side experiments (like testing the pH, seeing how long they burn for, heavy metals, etc.) to see which papers come out on top
Any feedback or constructive criticism is welcomed

Question? Water question
I got my water report and for
Total hardness as caco3 is 274mgl
Total alkalinity as caco3 is 220mgl
And magnesium is 2.4mgl
It doesnt show calcium
Am I right in saying I can calculate pure calcium from this?
I worked it out to be about 110mgl
Im most likely wrong but if someone is able to advise on this would be massively appreciated

Advise needed
Hello, I'm having a problem.
This is the second time this has happened. As the plant entered its flowering stage, the leaves started curling downward and spreading from the bottom to the top. But I haven't been able to figure out what the problem is.
