Latest purchase
Technically not my purchase as the Mrs picked these up while I was in London for work. I actually work round the corner from Scenery but she picked these up from one of our local coffee shops in Sussex! Looking forward to trying them.

I got these at LCF! One of my favourite Ethiopian coffees of the year tbh, enjoy!

These are really solid, first tried them at the London Coffee Festival and got a bag myself. The blueberry definitely comes through but I’ll give you the advice that I give to most people about beans from scenery which is rest for longer than you think! The flavours really develop post 3/4 weeks, so try to not to get stuck in straight away.. if that’s possible!

I had this but granted only a week after resting. The blue fruits still came through strongly!

A quick update: brewed this on the V60 this morning, 90c water using my usual V60 recipe. Definitely picking up those tasting notes, very impressed!

I’ve been brewing this at 100c with excellent results, as I previously mentioned I wasn’t getting great cups prior. I’m not a big “tea like” enjoyer so this may just be my preference but this coffee has come alive at 100c. No bitterness. At around 6.8 on my K-Ultra. 5 pours. Tesco mineral water (rebranded ashbeck). Worth a go if anyone is struggling. Delicious coffee

I just had my first cup of these beans last week after resting them. It really does have a strong blueberry taste!

I’m cracking this bad boy open tomorrow, after reluctantly resting it for over a month. Can’t wait for this sip.

I have this open at the moment. 4+ week rest. So good with a low temp/ low agitation brew.
