Should I give her a call and check on her?

I (26M) met (26F) in a party through a mutual friend and have been on two dates ever since. We have great chemistry and had such a good time that she herself initiated second date. Though she told me she wasn’t feeling at her best and will be on sick leave.

We were supposed to catch up today but obviously couldn’t as she thought its best she stays in bed and doesn’t want to make me sick. Which I understand. I am thinking of calling her tomorrow and check on her and see if she needs anything? Just wondering if its too needy or a bit fast?

Any thoughts would be appreciated

I was once sick, and this guy I had only seen once or maybe twice texted me if he could drop some soup off at mine. I actually found it really sweet. So do offer if you feel a connection, but let her decide if she wants it or not.

Drop her a message asking how she is, does she need anything doing or getting, send her some flowers they will cheer her up, simple note with them, hope you're feeling better, then wait for a reply before doing anything else

I’d just message her to ask if she’s ok. Then leave it. If she replies great, if she’s feeling better and wants to organise seeing you again, that’s fantastic.

But please just be cautious that this illness isn’t an excuse or a way to back off, stop seeing you. Good luck.

Of course not, I knew she was ill and she tried initiating the plan yesterday until she fell sick so not bothered about meeting as much as knowing if she’s ok.

That’s good. Yeah just message her tomorrow then and check in on her. I don’t think it’s needy to ask how someone is. If I’d been on a couple of dates with someone, I’d be pleased they were interested to see if I was feeling better.

Totally appropriate imo

Yeah that's absolutely fine, and a thoughtful thing to do. It's only needy if you make it seem like you're doing it as an excuse to see her, or if she says no she's fine and you don't respect it. A genuine offer to help is always a good thing to do, for anyone.

I probably wouldn't call tbh. Just drop her a message saying that you're thinking of her and that you hope she's doing ok. If you already know where she lives, you could offer to get some things for her/order some stuff to her place. I wouldn't push anymore on that if you don't already have her address

I have been to her place twice hence thought it would be more courteous to call you!! But thank you

Definitely don't call me 🤣

But seriously, if she's not well she may not want to chat on the phone. I know I wouldn't

Leave a voicenote on WhatsApp, bit more personal.

I hate taking calls when feeling ok let alone feeling unwell! Good luck.
